Tanssi to Integrate with Renzo: Launch Decentralized Networks —AVSs— with Instant Ethereum-Backed Security

Renzo's Liquid Restaking Token (LRT) and staking strategy manager are coming to Tanssi, offering developers a new way to launch decentralized networks (AVSs) with immediate access to staked ETH and Ethereum-backed security from day one. Renzo’s primary role is to simplify the restaking process and make the UX significantly easier, which in turn helps attract additional staked value secured through Symbiotic’s restaking protocol.

This integration ensures that Tanssi builders can instantly secure their networks using Ethereum-backed security, eliminating the operational complexity of sourcing liquidity and attracting stakers themselves. Developers can focus on building their applications and business logic, knowing that the underlying infrastructure and security are seamlessly handled.

“The Renzo-Tanssi integration leverages our restaking protocol to provide immediate ETH-backed economic security for AVSs. By abstracting the complexities of validator management and economic security, this integration enables efficient scaling of decentralized networks while maintaining liquidity for restakers through tokens like $ezETH and $pzETH,” said Kratik Lodha, Founding Contributor.

Renzo Protocol: Restaking Is Now EZPZ

Staking traditionally feels like a trade-off between securing a network and maintaining liquidity. Models like Lido’s introduced liquid staking for Ethereum, solving the “either-or” dilemma for staking. Renzo Protocol takes this concept further into restaking, offering liquid restaked tokens (like $ezETH and $pzETH), enabling users to restake without locking up their assets. This way, users can earn both staking and restaking rewards while keeping their assets liquid for DeFi participation and other strategies.

For developers, Renzo takes the complexity out of securing staked assets. Instead of handling security management, developers can simply plug into Renzo's liquid staking hub, gaining immediate access to billions of USD in staked value and allowing their networks to thrive without having to build complex staking infrastructures from scratch.

Launching AVSs with Instant Access to Ethereum Security: How Renzo Enhances Tanssi’s Infrastructure

Renzo Protocol’s integration brings liquid restaking functionality to Tanssi, acting as a key source of staked ETH for securing decentralized networks (AVSs). This integration simplifies one of the most complex challenges developers face—attracting liquidity and securing networks—by eliminating the need to manually source staked ETH.

Renzo offers seamless access to staked value, while Symbiotic ensures that this value is efficiently utilized for security, providing instant Ethereum-backed security without the operational burden of recruiting.

For developers, the combined benefits of Tanssi’s infrastructure and Renzo’s liquid restaking capabilities include:

  • Immediate Ethereum-Backed Security: With Tanssi’s infrastructure and Renzo’s integration with Symbiotic’s restaking protocol, developers can launch AVSs with Ethereum-backed security from day one. This eliminates the need for managing validators or worrying about setting up node infrastructure.

  • Accelerated AVS Deployment: Tanssi’s easy-to-launch framework is now coupled with Renzo’s ability to remove the complexities of sourcing staked ETH. Developers can scale their AVSs faster, knowing security is seamlessly handled.

  • Restaking Management Simplified: With Renzo managing staking infrastructure and validator recruitment, developers don’t need to worry about optimizing complex risk-reward strategies for securing their AVSs. This allows them to focus entirely on innovation and scaling, knowing that security is efficiently handled.

For end users, Renzo complements the Tanssi ecosystem by:

  • Easy Access to Rewards: Users stake through Renzo and earn both staking and restaking rewards, contributing to the security of AVSs launched on Tanssi.

  • Maintaining Liquidity: Thanks to Renzo’s liquid staking, users can keep assets accessible through tokens like $pzETH, ensuring they remain active in DeFi while securing the network.

  • Simplified Participation: With Tanssi’s infrastructure handling network operations and Renzo simplifying staking, users can focus on engaging with AVSs rather than managing the technical aspects of securing them.

  • Improved UX for Restaking: Renzo simplifies the restaking process by removing the need to constantly track and manage AVSs. Users can more easily manage their assets and make informed restaking decisions without the complexity typically involved in navigating restaking options.

Looking Ahead: Scaling Tanssi’s Developer Ecosystem

This integration significantly enhances the developer experience within Tanssi by addressing two critical challenges—security and liquidity. By collaborating with Renzo, Tanssi resolves a key issue for blockchain developers: making economic security accessible from day one. This integration is expected to go live with Tanssi’s mainnet launch in Q1 2025.

By tackling these foundational infrastructure needs, Tanssi further solidifies its position as the go-to platform for decentralized networks, speeding up the process of launching secure and scalable AVSs.

About Renzo

Renzo Protocol is a restaking hub designed to simplify access to liquid staking and restaking strategies. By removing complexities like validator selection and delegation, Renzo allows users to restake Ethereum (ETH) while keeping liquidity accessible through their token ezETH. Renzo helps maximize staking rewards and streamlines restaking strategies, making it more accessible for users without the usual limitations like caps on liquid staking tokens (LSTs).
